We already have a practice microscope, however I want to have two, so we have one in each consulting room. I plan on doing a dermatology certificate next year, so will be doing lots of cytology myself, so want to have it in the room with me

RE: What microscope would you recommend?

I contacted a local microscope servicing company who are used by the local university. They had a good quality Leitz Laborlux 11 for a reasonable price. They service it twice a year so the immersion oil doesn't gum up the X100 objective.

RE: What microscope would you recommend?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zeiss-Microscope-Laboval-4-With-4-Objectives/152456990670?epid=646767916&hash=item237f250fce:g:u0gAAOSw3v5YuCgp

RE: What microscope would you recommend?

If you're not in a great rush do some digging for an older German one. Zeiss, Leica etc Optically superior to anything modern. I have a Zeiss and love it. Maybe don't look at their new prices...

You can get various things that replace an eyepiece for little money now:
