Advice from an oncologist and/or specialist surgeon would be recommended.

as you say, absolutely no information in the literature about these cases. I’ve only seen 2 so far in my career, have no follow up for either but believe both presented reasonably advanced. In general, would suggest staging and a guarded prognosis for any type of carcinoma, probably worse in this area as difficult to get clean margins. I guess main thing would be to confirm diagnosis first. Oncology clinicians may have more experience/anecdote to add!

RE: Anal gland tumours in cats?

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21784684

Also, in spite of the title, info on cats found here also:

https://lib.ugent.be/fulltxt/RUG01/002/274/384/RUG01-002274384_2016_0001_AC.pdf

EDIT: this is for anal sacs / perianal fossae (i.e. masses found on rectal examination in anal sac). If it is an externally visible skin perianal mass you are referring to then please ignore!
