Puppies settled with the PDSA so no updates available!

We get a lot of positives and the patients generally improve rapidly with fenbendazole. I accept giardia may not be the whole story but I doubt it is an incidental finding.

I had a rep in last week telling me that neighbouring practices have seen a huge upsurge in giardia recently. Given that her company make a Giardia snap test im a little hmm,but I'm interested. I know a lot of people seem to see giardia as an incidental finding, but not sure what to think really. Views?

if they've become dehydrated that might affect their appetite. Some rehydration powder to go in a shared water bowl?

Apart from steam cleaning/bleaching the house as much as possible, there potentially could be a secondary bug becoming an opportunistic pathogen.

Feeding them rubbish isn't going to help. Why don't people listen?! If they're not eating the GI food, scrambled eggs?
