The owner very helpfully sent a picture ahead of time.
Has anyone seen anything like this in this species? My first thought was just to refer to someone

RE: Lesion in bearded dragon eye

Thank you, that's very helpful. The owner only noticed it yesterday, they think it's been rapid in onset.

No other clinical signs at the moment. He's due in to see me this evening so I'll get a closer look then.

Thanks again!

RE: Lesion in bearded dragon eye

Over what time course has this appeared? Are there any other signs?

my first thought would be an iridial cyst but all the options are there (abscess granuloma neoplasia)

if there are no other signs I would monitor for now and reexamine if signs develop or there is weight loss. I wouldn't be rushing in to enucleate just yet. bloods and a faecal screen wouldn't hurt

good luck
