Just quick pick of your brains. My nurses cat has ceruminous adenomatosis affecting both ears but over past couple of months she has found 3 small bumps around her right eye. I have seen cats before with adenomas coming all the way forward from

RE: Feline ceruminous adenomatosis

Laser ablation, including through the channel of a video otoscope for those in the vertical or horizontal canals.

RE: Feline ceruminous adenomatosis

lazer now, used to be chemical ablation

RE: Feline ceruminous adenomatosis

even just in the ears (I don't remember seeing one go beyond that), I find these really annoying cases. Even if I see them quite early on and in theory can be proactive about it, I tend to find that a number of years later I generally end up removing at least one ear canal (which I hate doing) due to chronic otitis.

I tend to use topical steroids (eg maxidex twice weekly) - would be interested to hear others results and approaches.

Had one with demodex on ear swab once - treated it and made little difference and still ended up with TECA-LBO one ear.

RE: Feline ceruminous adenomatosis

I have only come acrosss 2 cases; one of which did extend beyond the ear towards face/eyes.
