I did the CPD solutions one with Alex Smithson last year and would recommend it - I did the "complex dental extractions" day. They do do a 2 day course which includes radiography, but I found radiography ok to learn using textbooks, webinars and an hour or so playing with the dental X-ray and a dog skull.

I did the CPD solutions courses a long time ago (?10years). They were very good and I believe Alex Smithson is still running them. He is an excellent speaker and very knowledgable. Make sure there is a significant wet lab component and that there are sufficient dental stations and x-ray machines for everybody. If you can stretch to it, the dentistry I course at Accesia in Sweden is fantastic and it's a lovely place to stay for a week.

I don't know where you are based but I did a one-day surgical extraction course at Eastcott a few years ago and it was great. Can be combined into 2 days with dental radiography (I didn't, because we didn't have that at the time)

If you're a Henry Schein customer, ask about their CPD courses. Am off to their 2 day practical course in September (run by and at Improve's place in Swindon) and the cost is very good (less than £400 I think)
