We need a small ultrasound unit for basic first opinion stuff that will not take up too much room or be ruinously expensive!!!
Thanks!

RE: Siui CTS2100V
Any experiences with this unit?
Not with this unit but recent experience buying an ultrasound machine: look at more than one, get them out on demo to use 'in anger' and get a demo of some different probes (if budget stretches to more than one). We ended up with a Sonoscape machine from Celtic SMR. I'd definitely go for a proper trolley if you ever need to move it round the practice

RE: Siui CTS2100V

Small animals, basic first opinion practice. Complex stuff is referred!

Machine needs to be good enough to gain confidence with. A great relief to be able to identify most structures within the abdomen so seems a good starting point.

Not trying to replace the imagers!

RE: Siui CTS2100V

I think choosing a machine depends a lot on your scanning experience and ability and also how much scanning you intend to do. is it for large animal or small animal scanning?
