This has appeared over the past week. It feels soft and extends up and down from the point of the elbow with a bit of fluid

I've had a couple of cases of shoulder lameness that resolved when the harness type was changed. Of course no control case so who knows, they may well have got better anyway.

RE: Mass on elbow

Interesting stuff (and a post with a solution)

I saw it yesterday and had it in to FNA today and we concluded it was indeed a hygroma.

It was on admission this morning that the client said 'is this significant?

What makes this interesting is the fashion for dog harnesses (which wasn't with the dog yesterday), so we may see more of these. The buckle was in line with the elbow

If clinically fits a hygroma, then I suggest simply do nothing.

(But for completeness these exist: https://www.dogleggs.com/products-by-diagnosis-1/)

RE: Mass on elbow

Hygroma from the looks of it, don't touch it with a barge-pole, surgically!

RE: Mass on elbow

Hygroma probably.
