I have a deceased cotton top marmoset. On gross post-mortem she had some GI distension with white foci of approx 2mm diameter dotted over a large proportion of the small intestine - annoying photos of gross pathology are on camera elsewhere. For what it's worth, gross lesions sound to me much like very hyperplastic/reactive Peyer's patches. Cytologically wise I don't see atypia/mitoses but the cells are rather monomorphic. They kind of seem a bit cohesive but hard to tell :/ maybe a clinical pathologist might pop by and add some thoughts, not sure if there are any on the forum?! Sorry I can't be of more help.

RE: cytology from GI lesion
There seems a bit too much cytoplasm for these to be lymphocytes,
I wouldn't try to second guess this as the diagnosis may be critical, I'd want a pathologist to look at it mind you if its already thrown off its mortal coil probably not worth the expense but I would doubt it was the direct cause of death with such minimal gross pathology.

RE: cytology from GI lesion

That's a very consistent/monomorphic looking cell population - I'd be erring towards neoplasia but interested to see what Lou Dawsonor others may say.
