Usually they respond well initially but relapses get less responsive as resistance develops and a shift in treatment is needed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I use Karidox- 100mg/ml liquid formulation of doxycycline. If you don&amp;#39;t want to carry an extra stock item (it comes in a big bottle so therre will be wastage if you don&amp;#39;t use it regularly) then you can compound crushed tablets with pharmaceutical syrup or just hide split tablets in bits of cheese/pat&amp;eacute; for greedy rats.&lt;/p&gt;
