Does anyone know if these signs will reverse once effective treatment is started? Given the above experience of the skeletal-muscle wastage remaining, I think it reasonable to assume that the oesophageal muscle wastage in this case would also persist.

Whilst the pain resolved promptly with immunosuppresives, nursing the megaesophagus remained just as difficult, and based upon a low chance of prompt recovery, and the necessity for ongoing intensive nursing care in the meantime the owner elected for euthanasia.

Thanks again.

RE: Vizsla Polymyositis, prognosis

Had two that I can recollect.
