Teleos , 10years + , as above but you do need good broadband speed if your networking multi practices. Better to get your broad band from Zen and make sure your server is at the outlet with the best broadband, and make sure your actually getting what they are allegedly selling.

I like vetscope for ease of use and facility for management but have installed newleaf into start up clinic - very helpful support staff willing to adjust for individual requirements and basic, reliable system at a fraction of cost of support packages!

+1 for Teleos. Two of my regular practices use it and it seems reliable and easy to use frontline. I can't speak for how good it is as a management tool though. The facility to submit lab samples, then receive an internal mail when results are back is fantastic (I'm always forgetting them)

The one practice has had issues with the main hospital and a branch surgery communicating with each other, but that was a BT issue with their 1960's infrastructure!

Also use Jupiter and Robovet which seem equally good and reliable, again I speak as a frontline vet and not used either for number crunching.

teleos ++++ - over 10 years now, most of the external labs and insurances can communicate with it, the lab equipment, the card terminal, mobile phone app etc

We use Assisi, having recently switched to it from another new system which didn't measure up .

Looks very good so far, basically does what it says on the tin (not all of 'em do!), straight forward to use on the front-line and gives enough power to do some impressive number crunching behind the scenes.

A few little glitches nach - no system is perfect - but the support team are good and will take most suggestions on board for future versions.

Beware of slick sales teams who fail to deliver on promises!

We are settled on ezvetpro and pretty reluctant to change. A bit dull but rock solid and their newer staff members are more approachable and have a sense of humour!

Feels quite costly but not really looked at the alternatives!
