Original wound was from when the new hutch-mate was mixed with her before he was castrated and he was humping her.
Now the male has been castrated he is now grooming her constantly

RE: Rabbit overgrooming hutch-mate

[quote user="Joyce Whitehead"]

Managing conspecific overgrooming in rabbits.

Vet Rec. March 2016;178(12):298-9.

The author suggests putting a small amount of honey elsewhere on the affected rabbit so that the other bunny focuses on this new region, thereby allowing the old lesion to heal. I think that a JAK onesie as previously suggested is a good idea too. The author goes on to suggest diet and husbandry changes for long term management of the problem.
