I was reluctant to but the owners had even less money than those in the OP so we just bandaged it with a splint and cage rested it, and it did well! I have also done the same with what I thought (owners couldn&amp;#39;t even afford radiographs) was a complete disruption of both collaterals of the hock in a cat. The distal limb was moving in crazy directions at the level of the hock, and is now totally normal.
