We've a fabulous new dental digital xray system, however none of our nurses are trained to us it. I can just about get good images, but sometimes it takes me several attempts (and a lot of time!), so I really think we need someone to come in

RE: Who will provide in house dental digital xray CPD to our nurses?

There's this great chap in North Wales who knows what's what, as you might say, and should be able to do Coventry.

He spent a big part of a day teaching us to get better pictures. What helped us most was the idea that you don't follow a set pattern but learn to correct positional errors. Little mucking about with bisecting angles beyond a bit of basics. Take an image then know what to do to correct mistakes. Very quickly you get things right almost first time.

Much less intimidating than the more academic approach.
