My parents dog used to get repeat bouts of pancreatitis when dad would sneak it a bit off his plate. Couple of weeks ago lab x of similar size hospitalised on ivft for 2-3days with pancreatitis after eating one of those fat balls off the bird feeder. Few years ago labrador raided fridge (butter + cheese) and had raging pancreatitis followed by developing diabetes.
