Thanks for reply , I m trying to clear my neurology concepts , can peripheral vestibular issues appear as horizontal nystamus without head tilt ?

VII damage ,no external ear damage could be, OM,(peripheral vestibular syn) OI, parotid sialadenitis, nerve root mass, or cavernous sinus lesion, VII nucleus . Ideally advanced imaging but if no £££ X-rays csf tap( if normal mentation) myringotomy on the affected side may yeild a culture?

You won't necessarilly have pocketing with a tooth root abscess - need to radiograph the roots to see.
