Which one and from where?

Hi,
we have a wall mounted dental xray generator which works well (well positioned, safety and output tested all OK). For imaging we have been using Kodak CR intraoral films. Unfortunately our processor seems to make a right mess of developing them

RE: DR dental plate. There's generally a reason why they are cheap.

There is a limited number of sensor makes, though they sometimes get re-badged or put in packages: Eva, Quickray, Suni, Planmeca are all I can think of right now. There is one other whose name escapes me which gets terrible reviews.

For software, if you are wise enough to be Mac equipped have a look at Haas Software's Radiovision.

I much prefer CR to DR as I find the DR sensors very bulky, but I know plenty of others get on well with them. I think the software is really important. Some of the software I have seen is awful and has put me off the machine completely.

I would personally be very wary about buying on ebay, but if you're prepared to take the risk...

RE: DR dental plate. Remember there will be import duty on top. Still should cost about half the price of a unit bought in the UK but may well have little support unless a worldwide brand.

Most have basic veterinary software within the programs that you select during set up.

Check with the seller and make sure the item has a worldwide warranty or pay more and buy here!
