&lt;p&gt;That is the appearance of the wound today, 24 days post RTA. I hastened the healing by applying some stitches last week. I also applied some manuka honey at the carpus before dressing. Thanks for all the comments and advice. That will be the last picture as the conclusion is now so obvious&amp;nbsp;&lt;img src="/emoticons/v2/Clapping_hands.png" alt="Applause" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am amazed every time I remove the dressing. I only charge the standard bandaging &amp;nbsp;charge on the PMS. Looks like we are on course to having it sorted under 1k but still too early to say. &lt;p&gt;Was put on Amoxclav at the referral centre and their C&amp;amp;S showed sensitivity. Had a temp of 40.1 when I first saw her on 5th May. I took another C&amp;amp;S swab that came back resistant. &lt;p&gt;This is a good option, esp for a small dog or where owners might lose enthusiasm for redresses in the coming weeks. We did one recently and as said it is surprisingly easy and effective. These are simple and satisfying (if not quick) to fix. The worst we had was a collie dog that fell off the quad and was dragged along. Filthy dirty, contaminated and down to bone and tendon on both front legs above the carpus.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Wet-to dry until clean wound bed. Alleyvin/hydrogel changed weekly thereafter. Back to work now. Few hundred not thousand pounds. In fact ( even with some sedates to clean and change bandages initially) I doubt it cost more than the &amp;pound;800 OOH fee......&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Ouch !! sometimes I think we should refer more ,then I read things like this . The other thing I have done with these injuries if the owners are wanting a quick result is to turn the ante brachial &amp;nbsp;section into a complete deglove and create a tunnel in the later chest wall ,aka Paveletik&amp;#39;s book on reconstruction, suture the leg into place for 7 days then trim and close. But you still have the digital injuries. It may work out cheaper than dressings+meds for a month of Sundays, &amp;amp; Its easier &amp;amp;quicker than it looks and sounds. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
