We certainly see stones in the biliary tract in dogs, both in the gall bladder and in the bile ducts - are these in the gall bladder? They tend to occur due to cholestatic disease (or through diseases which alter cholesterol metabolism, like endocrinopathies).

They are often incidental but can cause problems via obstruction. You might be able to dissolve them with medical management (if its felt this is needed) but often they do need surgery if causing a problem. This might be cholecystectomy of primarily GB or could be endoscopic if in the common bile duct (and they go to a centre where this is possible).

I would, ideally, assess to see if obstructive by looking for blood indicators and ultrasound looking for bile duct distention.

In your case I would wonder about the significance of them at this stage.
