Sadly pretty unlikely to get much of a response to surveys that expect written replies rather than ticking boxes.

Hi Martin and Evelyn,

thank you for your feedback :) I'm sorry you felt the survey was not relevant to you. Because we are hoping to get input from dog owners with no veterinary training as well as vets and nurses, some of the language has been changed to hopefully make the survey work for a wide audience, so I hope it was not the tone or the language which made it not feel relevant.

With this work we are looking to identify the research questions about treatment and management of dogs with arthritis which have not yet been addressed by published research so that future research can be directed towards them. In the human research field these are known as "treatment uncertainties". Some of the questions that are submitted in this survey will have already been addressed by published research, and we will filter these out after the survey has closed. However, we do think there are areas in arthritis treatment which current research does not address and as vets in practice, your input in this to help identify these would be really valuable to us. We want to make sure that the research we do is relevant to those who will be using it.

It just asks what questions I have about various things. Being a veterinary surgeon, I don't have any questions about those things.

Survey either badly designed or badly worded.

I started this and gave up after half a dozen questions, none of the questions were applicable to veterinary surgeons.
