&lt;p&gt;These can happen anywhere in the system, from the tube [cuff!!] to the O2 inlet via the rebreathing bag [!!] and at any time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;BTW Sellotape has saved many a cat&amp;#39;s claw through a rebreathing bag and for years....&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Check for leaks, even tiny ones before sending the thing off for &amp;quot;service&amp;quot; [which we did....]&lt;/p&gt;
