I seem to remember the op was very similar to a dog castrate. &lt;p&gt;Castration surgery is similar to dogs so should be straightforward if you&amp;#39;re happy with the handling and anaesthesia.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The current drama is that they have been placed on the invasive alien species list recently which may result in restrictions on ownership from 2016 but most owners appear aware of this and are wound up!&lt;/p&gt;
