Be aware that even after cleaning and 2 doses the data claim is only that is as good as 5 days of Easotic, but better than placebo

Hi Sam,

It'd be worth to check cytology to rule out Pseudomonas. Apparently the product won't work on those.

Hi Sam,

It's called Osurnia (Novartis); its treatment course is 2 applications 1 week apart. The first application is applied after cleaning and drying the ear (and checking the tympanic membrane), and the second dose is applied without cleaning.

The ears shouldn't be cleaned for 2 weeks following the 2nd dose.
