Emma Scurrell at Cytopath is who we use for all of our ocular histopath.

Seconded. The eye pathologist at Cytopath is Emma Scurrell, our ophthalmologist really rates her, and the couple of eyeballs i sent her she provided an excellent and very swift report on each.

still, the submission advice may be worth a look.

I can’t recommend a specific lab but the fixative used is crucial. Once you’ve found a lab, check with them what they prefer and ask them to send you some. Davison’s modified or otherwise is what most would suggest. An interesting publication on eye fixation/histology here - http://tpx.sagepub.com/content/30/4/524.refs.html

Had no problem with TDDS a couple of weeks ago. Of course it was bad news for the cat as it was lymphoma and the owners were not keen for treatment!
