Her 10yo bunny has head tilt. This has been a problem for several months now it has had antibiotics and fenbendazole. It is currently on loxicom. She is convinced there seems to be cycle of 9

RE: Anyone heard of using ivermectin for E. cuniculi?

Hi Marie,

Was trying to spread the questions around rather than always emailing you

Never mind. Any ideas on this alleged cycle? I do wonder how much is the owner watching too closely and perhaps seeing a variation that is not there.

He has not had a titre done though I have mentioned it.

RE: Anyone heard of using ivermectin for E. cuniculi?

Mark Rowland has an alternative protocol for E cuniculi that may be worth considering - he did post it on here once but I can't seem to find it on the search function.

Did he have a titre done at any stage? If not it may be worth doing IgG and IgM as if both negative we can discount the EC theory. I haven't seen anything to support either toltrazuril or ivermectin as treatment and the newer papers seem to go down the path of antifungal medications given the cell wall similarities with the EC spores.
