Have patient that I reckon would really benefit from it. Is anyone aware of a decent alternative worth giving (prefarably that would be available from a chemist on a Saturday...)?
Many thanks,

I was advised to try maalox liquid but the first patient I tried it on vomited it back every time so I would be interested to hear what other people have tried. We can get the tablets on a named patient basis , which I did for an auto immune thrombocytopenia patient on high dose steroids.

If you can get the tablets then crushing them up and mixing with water should work okay for oesophageal ulceration.

RE: Alternative to liquid sucralfate for esophageal ulceration?

I was advised to try maalox liquid but the first patient I tried it on vomited it back every time so I would be interested to hear what other people have tried.
