I dont think OP were used in this case- these cats do seizure just from the lily ingestion. The posters from CVE below are free to download and use in your practice.

But back to the OP. I would say in retrospect that it was more likely OP poisoning as the most likely sequel to lily poisoning if it was so badly effected it was seizureing I would have thought would be renal failure. The one and only (known) exposure to lilies I've seen was a cat covered in pollen and sneezing from inhalation of the same. The owners were in a panic and wanted 'emergency' treatment. When I quoted £100 to put it on a drip and observe overnight it suddenly wasn't such an emergency and they took it home to wash it. Next time I saw it was for its booster - it never showed any symptoms.

VPIS was contacted and advised no lipids (which I had thought would be appropriate in neurological symptoms of possibly toxic origen),
Intralipid is only useful if the toxin is fat soluble, so if the toxin in lilies isn't fat soluble it's not going to be any use.

Not much else to add really, and I guess you'll never know if it was the lilies or something that had been sprayed on them that caused the seizures.

Re: Kitten seizuring after eating Lillies

I'm writing a case report on AKI at the moment and one of the papers I read notes that 36% of cats that presented with Lily toxicity had neurological symptoms

Re: Kitten seizuring after eating Lillies
B&Q removed all of these plants from sale until they could relabel them with appropriate warnings after I told them!
Wow that's pretty impressive Bob - was that just your local branch or did they make that a national protocol.

Acute renal failure, reversed with IVFT. We had a cat that was poisoned by a pot plant from B&Q. Managed to live another 17 years before everything packed up at 20 yrs old! If you get in early the kidneys seem to return to normal rapidly. Her BUN was 60!!
