Maybe this means there is just less of a burden so the lack of efficacy isn't as noticeable. Or maybe for similar reasons greater use 'ere darn sarf has led to resistant fleas.

And why does the spray work within a couple of minutes with in-house treatment?
I suspect in my hands the dose that the pet gets is a heck of a lot more fipronil than in the spot on. We do have a bottle around that we do let loose especially on puppies and kittens. Not sure I don't drown the bu++ers (fleas) in the solvent!

Anyone wanting evidence that fipronil spot on fails then I can send a selection of blotting paper coat brushings. It is not reliable, has not been reliable for years and IMO not worth the packing it is put in.

imidacloprid (insecticide) plus flumethrin (acaricide and tick repellent) (Seresto collar)

Check the box!

Imidacloprid is not reliable for tick control. Absolutely promise!

Seresto most reliable. Fipronil q good if applied often enough but despite all the claims otherwise, is pretty cr*p at flea control especially in the hands of the average cat owner!
