Did it one one cat that chronic otitis media due to polyps, scraped all the polyps out with care and placed a drain&amp;nbsp;and flushed it&amp;nbsp;for about a week. &lt;p&gt;If simple flushing (possibly repeated) fails, I don&amp;#39;t think it&amp;#39;s extreme.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thank you, we&amp;#39;ll probably have a very thorough flush of the bulla. I should have been a bit clearer about a ventral bulla osteotomy, I meant to say I think it&amp;#39;s a bit extreme at this stage, if we don&amp;#39;t get anywhere with other treatments I would consider it.&lt;/p&gt;
