Thanks for the replies. I changed needles for each bird - didn't seem right not to although the advice with the vaccine suggested it! Worked by filling up 1ml syringe and then injecting 0.2ml per bird so insulin syringes would have taken longer - to load each one from the multidose vial.

Gosh a rave from the grave - I didn't know they still made the stuff, but I recall in the dim and distant past multiply using the same syringe needle! Was that naughty?

However it could be (like us) you have boxes of unused insulin syringes about the place which might be ideal.

Tiniest needle you've got, and change between each bird.
