&lt;p&gt;Properly done sutures of Ethilon or Prolene of a suitable gauge, say 4/0 for dog skin, look extremely neat.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Personal preference - it&amp;#39;s not a big deal, I do sometimes use supramid of nylamide, but prefer monofilament (less tissue drag, less wicking, looks neater).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;IMS offer it. We sometimes use it swaged on for skin and I&amp;#39;m quite happy with the product&lt;/p&gt;
