 4 year old MN lop with bladder sludge. This is secondary to urine retention due to spinal pain. He&amp;#39;s had a few UTIs as well. Flushing it will only be a short-term solution as the underlying cause persists. I find analgesia and sc fluids for diuresis tend to work well if pain is responsible and avoid sedation and a very fiddly and frustrating bladder flush.&lt;/p&gt;
