There was minimal response to 2 weeks septrin or 2 weeks nebulising with F10+Bisolvon.
Oral exam was normal. On radiographs I am suspicious

Re: Guinea Head X-Ray

Thanks Evelyn

It's a gag you see..

His mouth looks perfect. Thus far I am disinclined to do much more. Referral has been declined for the time being on the basis that he is 100% well otherwise.. on the surface.

Exotics people, would/can you rhinoscope these guys?

Thanks

What's that weird thing bridging the jaws on the first and third radiographs?

Anyway, discounting that. There does seem to be an area of destruction and disruption just caudal to and overlapping the deep ends of the incisor teeth – but I'm not convinced this isn't the eye of faith at work – and there's no direct evidence that it's connected with the tooth.

Could we have a DV view – maybe intra-oral even?

Does the visible portion of the tooth look normal? In an elodont tooth it would be pretty rare to have the deep end severely diseased without the growth of the tooth being affected.
