Just a warning note. When we got our supply from DECHRA they told us they did not know how long they will have a supply available!

Dechra are making their own tetracosactide as a replacement now. You can contact them directly for information about how to order, but basically you order as a prescription. The strength is lower than a vial of synacthen but the volume greater - they have instructions for how much to use etc. We have had no trouble getting directly from them - handily just in time for the addisonian case to be diagnosed!

We got an alternative via DECHRA but need a special import cert. Was very happy, but of course, soon as we have it all the Cushings/ Addisons patients have disappeared....!
