In March they both had Delvosteron to knock off oestrus. I'd probably phone them again before using it again though incase the recommendations have changed.

Re: Ferret's behaviour problem.
by the time I've added VAT a bit of a mark up and consultation fee: about £100!
It's worse than that, Martin.... from the data sheet: "This product should be used immediately and not stored after opening," so you don't even have the 28 days to use it as it is effectively a single use vial!

Re: Ferret's behaviour problem.

Sounds like maternal behaviour, could the male have also got to her? Seems unlikely to be a false pregnancy though as delvosteron should knock out both oestrus and false pregnancy but it isn't 100% successful. If she does seem to be going through a false pregnancy then either wait it out or repeat delvosteron.

I had a non-client phone up yesterday inquiring how much the 'jill jab' would cost as one of hers has been in oestrus for 3 months. Given that if I order a bottle of Delvosteron I probably won't use it again in 28 days so she'll have to pay for the whole thing the rely was by the time I've added VAT a bit of a mark up and consultation fee: about £100! I could spay her for that so next question is what's the increase risk of spaying a jill in oestrus? - I wouldn't want to do it in a queen or bitch.

But in reply to your OP I would think that the Delvosteron is responsible somewhere along the line for de-feminising one (or both).
