I've got a tricky FLUTD case. A 6yo MN DSH with a history of numerous (4+) episodes of cystitis over last 12m. Urinalysis, radiographs and ultrasonography all WNLS. He is very picky with his food (refuses CD for example), and will not take

Re: Cartrophen in FLUTD
I've got a tricky FLUTD case
You might like to consider these, from a related thread, and specific urethral/ureteric dilators but not used in cats AFAIK.

No body interested in tamsulosin??

We tend to use prazosin as our alpha-blocker due to familiarity with that drug, for the same reason as they would have given you tamsulosin. I am not sure anybody has tried tamsulosin in dogs but it is very receptor specific so may be less useful.

work brilliantly in people....
