The puppies are 1 week old. I have started her on Amoxicilline-clavunate, but was wondering if there is anything

Re: lactating bitch with allergic otitis and pododermatitis

[quote user="Glenn Hodgson"]

I would consider cortavance and easeotic. Allowing her to get the ' roids she needs. With minimal absorption. I suspect anything useful will be off licence and worth filling in a consentform.

That was my initial thought as well, but it says on the label it is contraindicated in breeding, pregnant and lactating bitches, so that made me hesitate.

I would presume the systemic absorption is minimal but they are cautious because there is no clinical research to prove it is safe.

Re: lactating bitch with allergic otitis and pododermatitis

I would consider cortavance and easeotic.
