&lt;p&gt;The image you have posted reminds me of an advanced hydronephrotic kidney with the cortex just a thin line and the equal projections into the hydronephrotic renal pelvis. I don&amp;#39;t want to dish your ultrasonographic skills but it is easy for the mind to jump to the assumption that &amp;nbsp;fluid object in the abdomen must be the bladder and left kidneys can be very mobile.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tip for future images - have the image almost entirely fill the field of view until comparing it to something adjacent or showing its situation in comparison to something and have the focus point (the blue arrow on the LHS of the scale bar on your image) at the point of most interest.&lt;/p&gt;
