I have certainly missed FB&amp;#39;s on first pass rhinoscopy even when I&amp;#39;ve known that they were there (from CT or MRI). Targetted nasal biopsies can then be taken from any abnormal areas detected on the imaging. If that&amp;#39;s not possible then you could try flushing through the nasal passages (although I suspect you did this at the same time as rhinoscopy) and sending the washings for cytology +/- Aspergillus PCR. If you&amp;#39;re lucky you may even remove an FB!&lt;/p&gt;
