[/quote]I also tube blind and never needed a laryngoscope, the dog/cat one is also a white elephant in the drawer. However I'm wondering why you want non-kink tubes I find the 2 and 2.5 mm non-cuffed portex tubes are fine down to sub 1 kg bunnies and they don't kink in my hands unless they are un-beknown to me non-kink anyway!

Re. the Flecknell laryngoscope question - only yesterday I was watching the bunny expert at my former practice doing a bunny dental - she has the laryngoscope - but said she never uses it - just intubates them blind.

I don't get on with rabbit laryngoscopes - I still struggle to get good visibility. I tend to tube using a 2.7mm rigid scope with tube placed over it, which I find invariably easier. Didn't cost the earth either - I believe one of the more savvy partners sourced it from China via ebay but it does the job nicely! Also useful for any other small orifices that need scoping.

Failing that blind tubing is straightforward with practice, my only concern with that is that food can be blindly pushed into the trachea.

Hi Hannah, we have a Flecknell laryngoscope which has sat in a drawer unused for as long as I can remember! I couldn't get on with it at all and found it just got in the way- might just be me though. I prefered to intubate blind but we have recently purchased some rabbit V-gels which have been a revelation. If I was going to spend money on something rabbity it would be them rather than a laryngoscope.
