I would appreciate your thoughts on following case:
8 month old male Saint Bernard dog. He has been having problems (weakness) on hindlegs from the age of 4 months. Today he was seen by my colleague because he was unable to stand.

Any neck pain on palpation?

Is the dog insured? I'd be thinking referral toute suite if so in light of the sudden deterioration (I'm assuming sudden deterioration from the hx - or has it been gradually progressive over the 4m?). Go verrry gently with manipulating the neck if you're doing more x-rays. If it is a # I guess it could have been this all along, or this could be recent trauma on top of another issue.

Re: Tetraparesis in St Bernard puppy
