One of the runners is a drake and he's becoming a bit oversexed & pestering the call ducks. Apparently the mechanics of size mean that nothing can happen

Re: Oversexed drake
Drakes are randy buggers
Indeed they are - and anyone who has watched a gang of mallard drakes pursuing a female on the water will have a lot of sympathy for her. Many females are drowned by their violent suitors.

QI fact - (maybe you all know it - but it had passed me by until recently, when I happened to be watching a drake chasing a female round my friend's duck pen and suddenly noticed a remarkably long bright red wriggly appendage hanging from his ventrum). Male ducks are one of the very few bird species to have a penis. Chickens and most others don't - they just rub cloacas to do the business).

Warning - X -rated - don't watch this if you are of a sensitive nature:

Tell that to the Labrador bitch impregnated by a Patterdale.........

Drakes are randy buggers. The solution is more ducks (spread the love), pen him up or put him in the pot.

There is the extra issue here before filling him up with endogenous hormones - he is potentially a food producing animal. He could end up being given away and ending up on someone's dinner plate.

(In the end we killed all our drakes)

Re: Oversexed drake

Have used Tardak in my own budgie succesfully and would like to use it on another patient but it is not available anymore.
