 We obtained this ECG from a 10 yr old spaniel admitted for removal of a soft tissue lump on the lower jaw. It was obtained following anaesthesia with metadomidine and ketamine IM as the dog is less than friendly. We routinely use 3 lead ecg as part of our anaesthetic monitoring on everything but the quickest of ops, and I have never seen them do that.&lt;/p&gt;
