Does anybody know the treatment for ruptured ear drum in a dog. What combination of Trizaural and Baytril Max 100mg/ml? or other options.
Thank you.

Re: ruptured eardrum treatment in a dog treatment

I tend to use TrizEDTA with 16mls Baytril 2.5% (So i would assume you can just use 4mls of baytril max), 2mls dexadresson and 100mls distilled water.

Depending on the degree of inflammation/stenosis etc, I vary the dex dose between 2mls to 8mls, and adjust the amount of distilled water accordingly.

This is based on the recommendation of a dermatologist

Hope thats helpful!
