Wondering if anyone has any experience with skunks, and more specifically, vaccinating them. We saw one a couple of weeks back for ID chipping, and today saw a friends new 10week old skunk. My only advice is to take with a massive pinch of salt any claims that they are not yet "scenting" - I've never seen a room empty so fast...

Re: Skunks!

There was a thread on this a month or two ago. We have used both Nobivac and Durammune and give a DHP twice, 4 weeks apart as the initial course, then give an initial booster after 1 year then every 3 years after that. Not had any problems and I use the same protocol for ferret vaccines. I started the course at 12 weeks old plus.
