I often drink echinacea tea. Not because it's some kind of amazing super magic fairy dust healing herb, I just think the tea tastes nice. (Sorry if that's a bit boring!)

A money back guarantee on a product that has failed to cure your cancer isn't an obviously attractive deal! On second thoughts, it could go into the drinks kitty at the wake.

I was initially unconvinced of claims made for aloe vera, then I realised that its name means truth and this indicates that the wisdom of the ancients in naming it thus confirmed its healing properties.

I have an energy drink based on aloe vera if you're interested. It may cure cancer. No money back guarantee with this one though I'm afraid. It may instill immortality in you, but is perishable itself and not suitable for resale on return.

Well of course there is. You give it an aloe vera product. It removes all chemicals from the body. It knows which to remove because it's adaptogenic. I have been assured of this.

When I was first in practice I had a pair of 6m old GSDs that had got into rat bait. They vomited it up nicely with apomorphine and I duly administered copious AC.

I then learned a nice lesson about waiting til truly sure they're no longer vomiting - if administering the slurry is messy, think how much worse cleaning up AC-infused vomit is!! (At one in the morning of course)

I see the same bottles of Kruse Activated Charcoal. 350grams on 1000ml everywhere I go. You mix it up in a slurry and then try to get the owner to feed voluminous amounts of food to a labrador that's eaten all the Christmas treats till the faeces turn black. We had an owner back in a few months ago who'd actually managed it and the dog was nauseous because he'd persevered and got all of it down - There must be a better way!!

If you have braggs charcoal tabs,( from NVS) they are activated, I contacted the makers a while back to check, you need to check the total mg given to ensure you give enough,

We had some but, IIRC, it's not very concentrated so the volume for, say, a lab is pretty large?

I think the powdered form is supposed to be better than tablets for the same reason - increased surface area for adsorption of the toxin. Helluva mess if you have to syringe it into them though!

Wikipedia says "Activated carbon, also called activated charcoal, activated coal, or carbo activatus, is a form of carbon processed to be riddled with small, low-volume pores that increase the surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions"
