I've done a few birds of prey in my time but never a raven. Are there any special techniques/sites to use? Thanks in advance

Re: Microchipping a raven

oh...just my frazzled memory then I guess.

Re: Microchipping a raven

Once upon a midnight dreary..........

Re: Microchipping a raven

No Gillian, I'm sure it's the left pectoral area. I ususallly go sc though on the raptors. Large birds can go sc at the base of the neck.

Re: Microchipping a raven

Mark- I've only done parrots myself, and do the same as you describe, but aren't BOP supposed to be done in the thigh?

Re: Microchipping a raven

Great advice.
