Few days after castration, dog started dribbling Rhine around the house. Owner didn't tell us until 2 weeks later. Did initial bloods and urinalysis (results attached). Urinalysis was nothing apart from SG of 1.012

Re: 10 month old XB dog, PUPD, advice/help welcome!

Ha! My typing is awful! Going to run a specialist to see what she thinks but going to have a chat with the owners and advise a urinery tract ultrasound. Can't think I anything else to do? Kidney diet? :/

Re: 10 month old XB dog, PUPD, advice/help welcome!
dog started dribbling Rhine around the house.
Wow that's quite some leakage. The owners must be going in Seine.

I would also sample renal tissue via FNA to look for a chronic pyelonephritis or inflammatory glomerulonephritis picture, even if kidneys appeared normal - it would be unusual to get a definitive diagnosis from US alone (unless cystic).

All of above are (relatively) cheap if done in-house and provide a wealth of info, for minimal intervention.

Re: 10 month old XB dog, PUPD, advice/help welcome!

I am no specialist but my musings for what tjey are worth...
