The X-ray doses were off the scale and scatter made it dangerous for all.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;And plenty of cheap chinese electrical items (CE marked or not) are frankly unsafe. We got a second hand Datex capnogrpah &amp;amp; pulse ox for ~&amp;pound;100. ECG for ~&amp;pound;50.&lt;/p&gt;

These better monitors are about &amp;pound;1500.&lt;/p&gt;
